Love is Love.

Last time I went to a protest march was with my grandpa. I bet he would be protesting today.
love more

I am not attending any marches this weekend, but I applaud those that are. I hope some people get their minds changed towards tolerance. More importantly, I hope the frustration of this situation doesn’t lead to more division. Compassion, not anger, is the only path to progress.

Love is Love. And Love will prevail.

    I thought of you yesterday!
I was wearing my Burning Man Greeters sweater at the Seattle airport yesterday, and I walked onto the plane and was greeted cheerfully by a flight attendant at the door. “What’s a Greeter?” he asked me. “Is that like my job?”

“Like your job, but with hugs,” I said. “Can you give people hugs?”

“I might get sued,” he said, looking vaguely sad.

“Can you give me a hug if I promise not to sue you?”

He thought about it for a minute, and then said “YEAH!” and gave me a big hug, and a bigger grin. The people behind me were laughing, it was awesome!

Then, an older gentleman in front of me as I was walking back towards my seat said “See, that’s a good thing. Now he’s gonna be happy for the whole flight. I think everyone should get more hugs.”

I told him that if people got more hugs, the world would be a much better place.

He smiled and said: “See, myself, I like to shoot for 11 hugs a day. That seems about right.”

    I can’t agree more! *hug*
